As you can imagine, our charity has lost a lot of income this year, and we are struggling to reach the fundraising targets that enable us to keep supporting families at current levels. Unlike some other charities, nearly all the money we raise (80p/£1) goes directly to pay for therapy. To continue providing this essential funding for children’s physiotherapy WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT.

We are launching a challenge on 1st October: A Million Steps for Footsteps.

Before you run away, may we reassure you that you don’t have to do the whole million yourself! We want as many Footsteps friends, supporters and families as possible to sign up for our October challenge and pledge to walk/run/cycle/swim/dance – whatever you like – and collect some sponsorship for us at the same time.

We will then convert your pledge into steps and add this to our combined total – can we reach a Million Steps for Footsteps?

If you can’t sign up for the challenge but would like to make a donation please click here.

How can you be part of #AMillionStepsforFootsteps?

THE CHALLENGE

Can you take some steps to help disabled children this autumn? Over the years, Footsteps has improved the lives of hundreds of disabled children, helping them to reach their full potential through our life-changing physiotherapy. The charity now needs your help to continue this vital work. Can you take on a challenge this October to raise some funds? Pledge a personal challenge – be it walking, swimming, cycling, dancing – we will convert your pledge into steps and add it towards our collective target of A Million Steps for Footsteps.

PLEDGE – Please make a pledge to us via email (info@footstepsfoundation.com) or post on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/2014506708679210/  just telling us what challenge you would like to do. For example: “I will be walking 30kms in October for Footsteps” or “I will do 5km in my wheelchair” or “I will do online Zumba every week in October” We will then add your pledge towards our total of A Million Steps for Footsteps. There is no fee or minimum fundraise, we just ask you to share your story with friends and family and raise whatever funds you can!
