Our Supporter Grace Roscoe’s concert – Stepping into Song

On the 25th of February, we were delighted to attend a fundraising concert held on behalf of Footsteps Foundation which raised a great sum and was a wonderful evening of music – all organised by a 15 year old who lives in Dorchester – Grace Roscoe. There were beautiful choral pieces and solo instrumental pieces and songs, as well as rousing popular numbers from the local Rock Choir. It means so much to Footsteps Foundation to have the support of the local community in this way and Grace is a talented singer, event organiser and charity fundraiser – Thanks Grace!!!

Absolutely over the moon that Josh Smith has just won gold for Judo in the Special Olympics!!! Josh has cerebral palsy and epilepsy and was never expected to walk. His mum found Footsteps in 2010 and in his first session he took his very first steps! His mum Tracey said “All through his early years it was very obvious that Josh was an active, sporty child. After years of fighting for physiotherapy so that he could participate, we found Footsteps. Josh was finally doing what he wanted to do and his confidence soared”. MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS JOSH FROM ALL AT FOOTSTEPS!!!!!
