Here are some Frequently asked questions

What do I do during my child’s session?

Depending on the needs of your child, you are welcome to sit in on the therapy session, wait in the family room or take advantage of the local shops and cafes. If a child becomes distracted, we will advise parents to leave the room; many of the children are more productive in this setting. If you decide to stay with your child, one parent is preferred at any one time. If you are unsure as to whether you should stay, wait or leave, please feel free to consult a member of staff.

Can our regular physiotherapist or other visitors attend?

External physiotherapists and visitors are welcome to attend a session as long as we know in advance. Please contact the office prior to the session.

What should I do if my child is ill?

In the case of vomiting and diarrhoea we are unable to see children until 48 hours pass with no symptoms. If your child is ill and cannot attend a session please inform the office on 01865 340376 as soon as possible. If you are unsure whether to bring your child please contact the office beforehand.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel a session please let the office know as soon as possible. Unfortunately cancellations are non-refundable except for medical emergencies or planned operations.

How do I book another session?

You can book further sessions with the Centre Manager, either by person, email or over the phone. When sessions become fully booked we operate waiting lists for each session.
