Financial assistance for families in need of support
Enabling children with cerebral palsy and other neurological disorders to access the Footsteps therapy programme.
Footsteps Foundation provides financial assistance to families in need of support, enabling children with cerebral palsy and other neurological disorders to access the Footsteps therapy programme.
Footsteps Foundation funds the costs of Footsteps therapy for those families that cannot afford it. The project funds between 15 and 80% of therapy costs, depending on household income. To give families this support, we have to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds each year.
Footsteps therapy has helped hundreds of disabled children develop their physical abilities and increase their self-confidence. The charity, Footsteps Foundation, believes that no child should be excluded from this life-changing support through lack of funds.
If the Foundation did not exist, 60% of the families currently attending Footsteps would find the costs prohibitive. Footsteps Foundation helps to pay for therapy, shoes, physiotherapy equipment and transport and accommodation costs for families who travel long distances to attend The Footsteps Centre.
