The Marlborough School raise £1,175 for Footsteps Foundation

Marlborough School Charities week.2014The Marlborough School in Woodstock selected five local charities to be the beneficiaries of their Charity Week in November 2013 and Footsteps Foundation was one of the lucky five!

We were invited to get involved in the action by participating in the Fun Run around Blenheim Palace and making a presentation to the pupils. It was great to engage with the students during the charity week and together they did a fantastic job of raising over £7,000 for charity, £1,175 of which was donated to Footsteps Foundation. Thank you!!

Radcliffe Orchestra Concert raises nearly £1,500 for Footsteps

The Radcliffe Orchestra did a fantastic job at entertaining its audience of around 140 people on Saturday 9th November. They played music from Beethoven, Chopin and Brahms which was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.

Footsteps Foundation would like to thank Grundon for sponsoring the costs of the event. Thanks to their support, we were able to provide wine and refreshments at the post-concert reception, which seemed to go down well with the musicians and guests.

Our volunteers were brilliant. They helped sell tickets, organise the raffle, present gifts to the orchestra and prepare the food and drink. We couldn’t have done it without them!

Special thanks to The Picnic Hamper, Waitrose Headington and all of the local companies who donated gifts and prizes for the event. We raised just under £1,500 for Footsteps Foundation which will contribute towards the cost of therapy for disabled children in need of financial assistance. Thank you to everyone involved in making this possible.
